Yesterday I was in a winter region in the rocky mountains. Today i’m also in the rocky mountains, but there is autumn. Only 300 km away from fernie the weather completely changed. Sounds crazy.
But this is Canada.
I’m now at the kootenay lake in the beautiful town Nelson. This is situated in the rocky mountains in „beautiful British Columbia“. This saying you can read on every car sign here. And it’s true.
Yesterday on the ferry I met a guy who is moving from Manitoba to Nelson. We had an interesting talk and made an appointment to go a trail together. So today we had this amazing walk on a trail that leads to a site high above the city Nelson. From there we had a gorgeous view over the city, the mountains and the different colours of trees right there. It was beautiful.
